Scheduling
How to Schedule an Appointment:
Our phone lines are open 8 am
to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, Monday through Friday (Office hours are 8 am to
5 pm).
"Open access" is often called "advanced access" or "same-day scheduling." It enables patients to be seen in a timely manner whether for urgent, routine or preventive reasons.Â
What does this mean for our patients?
- First, our goal is to allow patients to be seen quickly for sick visits or for routine/preventive care.
- Second, the likelihood that patients will see their own personal physician has increased, which means greater efficiency and improved patient satisfaction. Â
How can our patients help this process work?
Please note that we offer 2 kinds of appointments
- Same Day or Next Day appointments – we ask that you call in the morning to schedule these appointments.
- Advance appointments – these can be scheduled in advance at the front desk or on the phone. These are usually about 4 to 6 weeks in advance. We encourage patients scheduling physicals and procedures to make advance appointments. Parents with infants can make these appointments before they leave the office.
Though we will do our very best to fit you in the same or next day,
we cannot always promise that your desired schedule time or physician will
be available. Our phones are turned on at 8:00am every morning and our
available appointment times are on a first come first serve basis. On busier
days, you may be offered an appointment with a physician other than the
one you normally see.
